Great App!

Transferring music from old vinyl to digital form has never been easier. This app is very simple to use and beats other applications that I’ve tried in the past. The interface (as noted by a previous reviewer) has a few quirks and I’d recommend leaving the “beginners help mode” on to begin with. Once you’ve transferred a few albums and got to grips with the app you’ll find that recording your old vinyl is very quick and easy. Removal of clicks and pops works very well and the hiss and rumble filters seem to do a good job (mind you I’m old and my hearing isn’t as sharp as it used to be). Occasionally the "detect track break" feature misses obvious gaps in the music but manually entering track beginnings / endings is a breeze. I haven’t tried the feature which burns converted music to a CD (does anybody still use CDs these days?) but saving files to my iTunes folder has worked very smoothly. I’ve yet to try converting a 78 record so can’t comment on how well that feature works.

All in all a app that has been worth every cent in my opinion.
